Avast! No hurricane be goin't come't me Blacksburg and stop me football game! Narr. Last night, under t'lights, was t'most stunning display'o what night games in Lane Stadium be all about. The Hokies dominated on both sides o't'football, and their fans made more noise th'n anythin' I ever hear in me life. Part o'that be because o'hurricane Issabel be upon us, and brought steady rain, 35 blowing and temperatures at around me fingers be fallin' off. Still, the stadium be packed, and we let Texas A&M know why Hokie football fans be the best in th' country. The stadium be shaped with blimey steep stands, so t'sound of us yelling on third downs bounces down t'funnel and onto th' field, and be usual enough t'confuse th' opposing team int' doing something stupid. Night games always be gettin' th' crowd into a frenzy, and bad weather even so. You can be imaginin' what a crazy time it were.

Mateys, today be the kind o'holiday we all be waitin' fer. Today, be Talk Like A Pirate Day. I don't be knowin' why these guys decided to create this day, but its gone through the poop deck. Everyone here at school be knowin' 'bout it, and pretty much most people I be talkin' to be gettin' their "arrr!!" in tune for today. What a great idea. ARRR!!!! And now, Gerritt's Homepage.
